Learning Handbooks
SFCC Learning Handbooks provide students with essential information required to successfully navigate Senior Years Learning. Each year group from Year 9 to Year 12 has a specific Learning Handbook with relevant information designed for their particular stage of learning.
Students receive their Learning Handbook at the start of each school year which outlines important curriculum information, such as curriculum overviews (what they will be learning in each course), formal assessment overviews (how their performance in each course will be assessed) and the relevant College Assessment Policy which outlines the rules and procedures students must follow in order to meet the requirements of the New South Wales Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or Higher School Certificate (HSC).
SFCC Learning Handbooks also provide students with access to a number of resources aimed at promoting positive health and wellbeing, tips and advice regarding study skills and time management as well as access to our College Literacy Hub, which has a wide variety of resources to support students develop the literacy skills required for success in Senior Years Learning.
